ASSIGNMENT1

 MY CU EXPERIENCE

My name is Okolo Emmanuel Chukwubueze, an alumni of Yaba College of Technology Secondary School(YCTSS). I gained admission to Covenant University(The best University in Nigeria and West-Africa at large).

I resumed on the 30th of September. That day was really disturbing because i didn't feel i was ready for the new outcomes in C.U because i heard a lot of terrifying stories that occur(i.e the frequent expulsion of students, Whistleblowing). I just had to brace up because i knew that nothing was gonna change the fact that i'm going to school at Covenant.

When i got to My hostel(John Hall), i wrote my name down and i was opportune to be among the first fifteen persons on the list. This advantage made me check into the hostel easily and i wasn't stressed at that instance. When i got into the hall, i registered my biometrics, submitted my clearance form and went straight to my room to drop all my luggage. I was happy a little because my room was on the first floor, so, i didn't get tired when i was carrying my property. 

The next day, we were compelled to attend the Sunday chapel service. The ministration by pastor Judah was very impactful and i was blessed by the encounter. During the week, we had a four-day orientation programme. The orientation was very enlightening and most fears i had about the school were suppressed because the several sessions duly informed us about the schools' system and policies. 

The following week, we started lectures and things were going really smooth. I was astonished when i saw interactive smart TV's and loud speakers in each lecture hall. This was really cool. I also loved the fact that we engage more of e-learning and the use of online facilities to facilitate our learning.

Furthermore, i must commend the cafeteria and the fast-food stands. The food i eat on a regular basis are sumptuous and just awesome.

In addition, I 'll say C.U's environment is peaceful and quiet. The hostels are really nice and the fact we've got 50GB data is just resounding. To be honest, Covenant University isn't as bad as i thought. The school has everything i need to be a success and the core value of spirituality(which is the arrow-head of worth) is really a top standard.

 

In conclusion, I pray to excel in covenant University and I'll ensure my stay in this prestigious university is maximized.
